Weekend cards

I haven't made anything in over a year, but I am finally feeling the old interest. I know cleaning my craft room helped a lot.

Re: Judy - news about April, the Giraffe

No! This makes me so sad. I loved watching her. It must have been so hard on the people who take care of her. There are lots of giraffe cans now, but there will never be another April.

Re: Scraps, I have a question

I decided to pitch them all, but when it came down to it I couldn't do it. I did throw away a whole garbage bag and only kept a shoebox. Mostly white, black, and shimmer papers from CS. They do have the nicest paper.

Re: Scraps, I have a question

I am going to pitch them. Some are from POPS from CS! I have used them, but not at the same rate as I collected them. Thanks!

Re: sticker sheets

She is RTS Scrapbooking on YouTube. I like that she sticks to the topic and has some new ideas. I also liked this idea because you make the book once and then put any new stickers in the empty spots when you pull one off to use. Not that I am buying new stuff. This whole process has made me realize ...

Scraps, I have a question

I moved my craft room from a large room to a smaller one, so I am working on purging and organizing. I am pretty pleased with how things look and it has made me want to actually scrapbook again instead of just making the random birthday card. I spent 2 days on paper and even though I threw away 2 ga...

Re: sticker sheets

I saw a very interesting video on YouTube the other day. She said stickers will stick to waxed paper AND be able to be pulled off and restuck to paper. She had taken a random blank book, glued waxed paper to the pages and arranged her stickers by rainbow, season, and other random categories (arrows,...

Re: Eileen Hull journal die?

Beki, Dee and I took a class at the beach that taught us how to make any size book with cardboard, paper, and doublesided tape. The secret was using a strip of Tyvek on the joints. Tyvek is used to wrap houses when they are bring built and for dogfood bags. It will not tear. It is covered with patte...

Re: Eileen Hull journal die?

Keitha, I have no experience with this particular die, but tons of experience with this type of die. We used them at the library all the time for bulletin boards and kid's crafts. They cut very well, but we used a completely different type of machine. You put the paper (multiple sheets at once) and ...
