Re: January 2009 Monthly Scrapping Challenge

Hello, here is my entry for the Challenge. The layout has photos from the Rolling Retreat that Marianne and I attended in 2006.
I have shown the challenge items at the bottom of the layout: a die-cut daisy that I used as a mask, the stickers we were given at the retreat and my new ink-pad.

Watkins Glen State Park

Marianne and I did a trip to the Finger Lakes area of New York State in 2006, and Yes, I am still scrapping the photos! This was a really wonderful place. I used the Great Outdoors tree stamp and my new Cuttlebug to cut the letters and the leaves. The quotations are from The Lord of the Rings. Kathr...

Mini Star-book

This is a mini Starbook I've been working on over Christmas. It was a project in an English magazine called Craft Stamper. The cover is 2 3/4 inches square and the starbook measures 5 1/2 inches across when open. I used some Club Scrap stamps from kits like Evergreen and silver stickers.

Great layout, Christy. I would not have thought of using Rhapsody for a "running" layout. I like the way you have captured the energy and movement.

Re: Cornwall holiday album

Thankyou for all your kind comments. We rented this little cottage for a week, on a farm, down a long narrow country lane. I just had to choose this one, when I saw it was called Rivendell Cottage. (Any more Lord of the Rings fans around?) Launceston was the nearest town. I think this layout is a bi...

Cornwall holiday album

Hello, these are some pages from our holiday in Cornwall. I decided to do all the journalling at the beginning of the album, day by day, with little photos to fill in the spaces, rather than scatter it through the pages. Most of the card is from CS kits like Serengeti, with the swirl stencil from Wr...
