Re: Christmas 2023 - February

Adventures in learning to make a shaker card, day 2: After watching a dozen or so videos and trying to understand a handful of photo tutorials, I'm ready to start. Selected the card base, the background paper and the shaker paper. Finally, after measuring and cutting 5 times, I have the perfect fra...

Re: Anyone want a flat rate package?

Wow Monica, you're doing a good job clearing out. I need to do that, but it seems like such a chore.
Pam, I'll be curious to see what you do with the 1Canoe2 papers if you take those. I've been using what I have in my Alaska album, and lamenting that I didn't buy more of it when I had the chance.

Christmas 2023 - February

As Tim would say, shakity-shake! Your challenge is to make a shaker pocket on a card, tag or layout. Christmas/winter themed, or whatever floats your boat. First up I used a circle word die for a quick ornament tag. Next I used a sentiment/shadow die combo, with the shadow cut out of the card front ...

Re: Christmas 2023 - January

Great challenge Pam, hoping to find time to give it a go. It's certainly a great way to use up random and leftover embellishment bits that don't work on their own. I see you mentioned MK and Janet's class; thought I'd mention that MK has done several embellishment cluster series on her YT channel ov...

My first thought was - did I miss Super Bowl Sunday while I was away, LOL?

Re: Clarence the elephant

I missed this when you posted it Monica. Did you see my hand shoot in the air? I have, ahem, more than a couple of these animal dies, and love the quirky personalities of them. And I agree; double-sided adhesive makes them much, much easier to assemble - not just Tim's Colorize dies, but any multi-l...

Terrific pages, Pam! Now that I'm home again I'll have to check out that class; I do love bold patterned paper, and have lots in my stash.

Yes Pam, it's one part of the Tim Holtz plaid die for this year.

poinsettia card

A few weeks ago I cut some poinsettias for a tag, and had some extras. This morning I assembled some of those die-cuts into an easy card.
