Pop-Up Box Cards

Post by azemigh »

I have a friend turning 60 in a couple of weeks and wanted to make her a special card. Found this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. It's fun to make and you get a big wow factor. I made 2 and will probably give my friend the blue/green one.

These are lovely, Rachelle - quite the labour of love. I have a friend who makes quite a few that I've seen in person, and even been the lucky recipient of one. I can attest to the wow factor.

Those are great - you did an exceptional job on those!

Neat that they can fold flat for mailing without much trouble!

Your cards are lovely, Rachelle.
Forgive me for hijacking this thread and I apologize if I have already posted this card. I made it in October for our SIL using the Club Scrap Hops & Barley digi kit. Printed out the component parts and assembled the card. The stamps are from Darcie's. These cards do have quite a bit of WOW factor when opened by recipient. Thanks to your inspiration, I hope to be making more of them. This is my only one.

Very nice Jen. I have that digi kit too, haven't used it yet, but I love what you've done. Your card fits right in with the theme of this thread, so technically not hijacking.
