6TH Birthday LEGO Card

Post by paddlegal »

Our grandson turned 6 on Wednesday. He loves LEGOS so of course this was a no brainer card. I found many Pinterest versions for the #6. This is my spin on the idea. My “6” isn’t as prominent as I had hoped. But when making a card at the last minute...

I will tell you that punching out all those dots and then gluing them down reasonably straight is an act of love. And I do love that young man.

So cute! :)

I still have "plastic" Lego paper from way back when...bumps and all.

Such a fun card, Farley. Perfect for a lad who loves Lego. And next year you can make a card with a Lego number 7. (But then a Lego number 8 might be trickier!)

Thanks everyone. He did like his card and his gifts.

I don’t know Kathryn...making all those dots and then gluing them on...again...maybe. LOL. I seriously considered finding the actual 1” flat ones and using the real thing. Heavy card.

For his gift, we gave him a lego kit of course plus a backpack for him to hold his binoculars and other adventure tools. And I gave him one of my own California Bird Field Guides. It’s perfect for him. Great photos plus the birds are classified by color and the pages color coded to make it easier to ID.

I was going to ask if it was a die or embossing folder. You are a trooper and I'm sure the little fellow will LOVE it.
