Pam...we just finished 5th grade and all math is via paper. No calculator for us.

It's been many years since my son was in grade school but I can't imagine children not learning cursive! One of my greatest treasures are my mom's hand written letters and recipe cards. Her cursive was beautiful. She was in advertising in the 30s and her handwriting was used for logos for several companies.

Imagine finding hand written genealogy records and not being able to understand them!
