Dies that cost less
Re: Dies that cost less
My die order came in yesterday.... I picked them up at the post office this morning and now all I want to do is go home and play.... they're gorgeous!! That heron is going to be super... it's taller than I thought and has lots of detail....
I'm halfway through putting the pages together for the animal scrapbook. Whew.... this turned into a much bigger project than I had anticipated, but it's going to be super once it's finished. I'll have to spend time photographing the pages once I get it finished tonight. Have to finish it tonight because the shower is tomorrow... we had short notice since they were working around the mommy-to-be's work schedule.
It's been fun.. I doubt I'll ever make another one, though... LOL

I saw those great dies in your album and figured your order must have arrived. They are wonderful.

How long did it take to get your order, Debi? I just placed one and I'm anxious to play with them. Glad to hear the quality is good.
Re: Dies that cost less
Thanks, Pam.
Re: Dies that cost less
Yep...it was fast shipping. Looks like she gets new ones made often, so I'll be checking there often.

I didn't look at this thread before - and I am intentionally NOT looking at all these lovely dies that I'd want if I saw them. I will look forward to seeing everyone's fabulous projects using them though!
Re: Dies that cost less
Oh, Keitha. You have to look. Actually, the prices are so low that I was afraid the quality wasn't there - Debi reassured me about that worry.
Re: Dies that cost less
After having to do work this morning... ugh.... I spent some time this afternoon die-cutting.... the dies from this place cut really well... I had a linen-textured paper that was being a pain... but regular cardstock cut very cleanly... it was easy to get the diecuts free... even the seaweed, coral, etc. Can't wait to use them on something... but right now I'm just getting my scraps cut... and then I can move on. (I'm channeling my inner Charlie!! just diecutting scraps!! LOL)

Mine came but I've been trying to mow, clean up a filthy house, and run laundry. Ugh. Not much play time here.
Re: Dies that cost less
I just spent some time sorting some supplies. Yes, there's a theory about putting things away as you use them - not there yet.
Tomorrow I plan to pull out a few neglected dies to use with some PL cards & cut-aparts. I bought the little fan coral dies and think they will be pretty cut out of patterned paper.

I have the seaweed and the fan coral dies. I'm running them through with a piece of regular paper as a shim. Also running them through one way and then back again. Lots of details on all her dies. The extra effort pays off.
