flotsam and jetsam in the studio

Post by Keitha »

Focusing on the display areas around the Glitter Grotto today - of which there are precious few - and I've something of a dilemma. What do you do with finished projects that you perhaps no longer love, but you can't quite bear to toss? Things like canvases, frames, pieces of altered art - things that require a flat surface/shelf space to display. Some are class projects, many are good technique examples, and all demonstrate my artistic journey since discovering scrapbooking back in the early 2000's. Holiday-specific pieces are already tucked away with the appropriate decorations, and come out during that time of year. I don't have room to have everything else on display at once, and quite frankly some of it I'm getting a little tired of looking at - but I'm not ready to throw them out yet, either.

Take photos of all of them and put into a binder or album to refer back to. Or just keep the photos on a computer file.
