Okay, girls, I'm slow but sure. Here is the sketch I snagged from My Minds Eye Anatomy of a Double Page Layout. Here's a link if you want to see their sample.

As you may have noticed, I am partial to double pagers. You, of course, could choose just one side. Extra credit for a holiday layout (as you will see in my sample which follows).
Hope you like this sketch and want to play along. I chose one with many photos since we all usually have so many of the holidays.

And here is my layout featuring various photos I took in December showing that it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The paper is from a paper stack that I shared with Farley and I can't for the life of me recall the manufacturer at this moment. She may fill us in. Love it, in any case. Since there was so much text on the paper, I used the preprint as the Title. I also haven't done my journaling yet. Sorry but I hate my handwriting (see Heidi Swapp) but I plan to write some info around the large rectangle on the left side. I promise. Hope you like this sketch and layout and join in on making a layout in January of this new year.

If I hadn't already stowed away all Christmas crafty stuff I'd tell you what that paper is.

Hey, Farley, I know it's tiny but did you see yourself in the bottom left photo on right page? At the Paper Garden.

My goal is to actually do these sketches every week, using my stash! I though the green of P&S worked well for these photos from the rehearsal for my DDs wedding. Not the greatest photo, but it's done!

I have completed mine and hope to get a chance to photo it tomorrow. Farley you may see something on one page that looks familiar ;o). Thank you very much.
Here is mine:
These are photos from 2011 that I decided to use on the Graphic 45 papers. Added a bit of Stampin' Up! card stock, buttons, Crystal Effects, Alpha Stickers from Club Scrap and a great die cut from Farley.

Gorgeous layout, Cheryl. So glad you are playing along. Love the die cut, too. They really add a spark to the page, don't they???
