Jen, I finally had a look at the Scrapbook Generations magazine you linked too; lots of good stuff in there. I poked around Issuu and see they have some older issues online, but nothing since Nov 2015. Is there a way to view the more current SG magazines do you know?

Sadly, they stopped publishing with that issue. There is a comment from the editor in the front of the issue. She was ceasing the mag in order to write a book.

So I continue to pore over the old issues. They are a treasure trove for the style I really like. Glad you took a look.

Yes, where have you been hoarding that paper? I love it. There's a DCWV wood grain stack I'm hankering to buy but I'm on Paper Probation right now. However, if I happened upon it in a 6x6 pad, well, you just never know what might happen.

So happy to see you playing with the sketch. Love the photos, too. That quarry looks very interesting.

actually I had NO wood grained paper, so I found a cool package at the store yesterday.
10 sheets I think for $6.99
You either pay $10 to scrap or buy $10+ and get to scrap for free. So I always buy at least $10 worth of something, LOL

:hijack: I found a 6 x 6 pad of woodgrain papers at Tuesday Morning a few weeks ago. I had forgotten about it until just now.

Oooh Laurie! Love this LO with the washi tape connecting the pages. And Avant Garde was/is a favorite of mine. I was just looking at a sheet of that blue last night pondering over it's possible use.

It's an old tunnel and tracks for little trolleys or whatever they sent the gravel down from the hill. Quite the deal, then there's another drive-through tunnel where the big trucks would drive in, they would dump the gravel from above and out they'd go to deliver. Apparently many of the roads here in the valley are made with that gravel. Sadly Marks Dad is no longer with us to ask.
