The balloon ride with a really good friend that I used to work with. We have known each other for 40 years. This was in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Beautiful area surrounded by mountains and hot springs.
That blue balloon paper came from Pam Cook......what would I do without her!!

I'm so happy you were able to use that paper! It was in my stash entirely too long.
Thanks for joining me in this challenge. Your pages are wonderful.

This is Ray and Marianne visiting this summer. We took them to the Big Horn Canyon and drove the 110 miles (both ways) in the Canyon. It's such a beautiful scenic area.
The 2 project life 6x6 pages are of the Legend Rock area and the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody. Sorry about the glare on these.
We had a great time on their visit. We hope to visit them next year on our trip back East.

The last page of Ray and Marianne's visit. While we were leaving the canyon we spotted the Wild Horses of Pryor Canyon. Some cool facts about them are they come from Colonial Spanish Heritage. The horse range they inhabit was established in 1968 after the BLM tried to have them all destroyed the people of Wyoming had a fit and won for a change. The horse range is 38,000 acres. The average size of these horses is 14 hands. The herd is only allowed to be a maximum of 95. They have an adopt a program if the herd gets above 95. All the 95 horses are named. A group of volunteers watch their travels and habits on a daily basis and how many babies they have etc. Pretty cool operation.
The next photo is of the Dall Sheep. These are young ones as their horns haven't started to curl.
The last photo was taken by Ray and it was a sight to see. As we were boating down the lake these birds left the water and flew off. It was so beautiful to see. Ray timed it perfectly for this capture.
That trip was very successful as we saw a lot of what nature has to offer.

Technically 14 hands is a pony. I'm so glad these beautiful animals weren't allowed to be destroyed. Love the LOs and the bits of area history.

What fun to see pages of our visit! It was great to see the horses and sheep that day as well as the spectacular canyon ride. That photo of the birds is one of my favorites from the whole trip.
Re: Deb Barnhill October 2016 LOAD
Great pages Debbie! I guess this means you're home from your own travels for now.
