There's quite a bit of information available on what the glyphs represent, easily found online so I decided I didn't need to Include it on my layout. Although I did seriously consider adding a QR code... I will attach the pamphlet I picked up at the park to the back of the layout, together with my admission ticket. I briefly considered putting the ticket on the front but it was yellow; good thing that saved me, as it said Senior's pass on it. Not that we were seniors but they'd had a power outage so the interpretive centre was closed, and because of that they charged us a reduced entrance fee. I didn't look at the ticket until I pulled it out today when I was making the pagepbp908 wrote:Love this, Keitha. It would count for me - the rocks were of course outside and are now protected. I wonder if anyone has ever deciphered the glyphs?

Oh please post this in the July card challenge also. It's a stunner and works brilliantly with this month's theme. Fascinating too.

Looking it up now, Keitha. Between your LOs and a gaming friend, I'm learning a bit about Canadian history.

Made this one for PSL. Shiny is the challenge this week and I used glitter paper to die cut my stars. My favorite outdoors place of all time is the Pacific Coast just above Seaside Beach in Mendocino County. It is where my ashes will be cast to the sea. This was one of those BEST DAY EVER days sitting in the sun watching the waves. My happy place.

Sure, farmers markets certainly fits this theme. Go for it Jill! I'd love to see your market and your layout!

Visiting our favourite plant nursery. Although the plants are small, they are inexpensive, so you can take a wheelbarrow round the back field and load it up! When you can't cram any more in, it's time to go!

Re: Summertime Challenge wk 3
Love your page Kathryn. Nurseries are one of my favourite places, and this one looks like a winner.
Re: Summertime Challenge wk 3
Love this layout. And I also love to stroll through nurseries. There's a wonderful one in Cambria. I feel like it's the best thing going for free.

Great subject and layout Kathryn.
I am like a kid in a candy store, I want too many things from plant nurseries.
We had a blank canvas at our new construction home this spring, so between the landscaper and us, we've planted a lot lately.

That's a wonderful excuse to load up the wheelbarrow, Pat! This nursery is close to the sea and open to every wind that blows, so you know that the plants are tough and should survive well.
Re: Summertime Challenge wk 3
I used to love that time of year where we would hit all the nurseries is a 50 mile radius. Now it's cacti!
