This is a lesson learned, actually many lessons learned. It was a blast. Rod and I tubed the Salt River many times when we lived here in the 70's but it's been over 40 years since I had done it and it was so fun. We went with my cousin Bobbie's family and the kids had the best time. Never too old to learn!!

Wait! How did you get pictures without damaging your camera? That looks like so much fun and I love the layout. Your description gave me an idea - sometimes current events remind me of past events (no pictures though). I'm going to start documenting those thoughts on the back of the layout. I need to remember to tell my kids to look for hidden journaling as well.

I've done the hidden journaling when there was a story that I wanted to tell, and it was just too much for a journaling box. But most of the times I've done that, I'll write something in one of the bottom corners, like "turn over for the whole story..." or some little clue that something else is there. I expect to spend lots of time with my books in my older years, and some of those stories are more meant for me than anyone else, though if they're discovered, they could spark some interesting conversations. :-o

I bought this sealed Ziploc looking thing specifically for tubing and you can put your phone in it and it will keep it dry. It has like 3 different zipper sealer pouches that will save it from getting wet. I would take a picture of it but a friend is borrowing it right now.

Wow. That had to be quite the thrill to see them.

Didn't even know a zip lock for cameras even existed. The pictures are still very good!

This is my layout for Shimelle's Challenge "A Beautiful View". And that it is!! This is Yellowstone photo taken by a friend of mine who lives in Sheridan. He's magical with the camera.

Great layouts, I bet the tubing was so fun! I've done the "truckin' on the Truckee" a few times and loved it. And gorgeous view of the Grand Canyon at Yellowstone, I am dying to get back to Yellowstone.

The only "tubing" I have done was on snow up near Tahoe. Hard on the butt.
