Post by Debbie J »

1.For the month of January I have selected a Sketch I pinned from Pinterest. The credit goes to Treasuring Memories http://marilynrivera.blogspot.dk

You can use whatever colors you like.

I will select a winner at random and send something from my stash each month. Heaven knows I have a ton of stuff!!

Please be gentle, I'm new at this!!!

Gorgeous! I'd like to get back into these challenges this year. I'll see if I can find a single photo of something. Usually if I have one photo, I have 100. I have an idea though...

Nice job! Love the dollies, and at first I thought---"how did you find those colored doilies?"

Love the sketch. I have just don't something "similar" to this but not with the circles in it. I'll see about trying another one.

Ooooh, love the sketch. Have no clue about making the "bracket-like" layer.

April, I had a piece of paper already cut that way, but you could use something similar, scallops or something.

Now's a good time to use some of that die cut paper that was in the Webster's box.

Shai when she was 5 feeding Pretty Girl (the donkey). It lived at the house my sister rented in Hendersonville. She LOVED that donkey.

Our little Shai!
Love this layout!

This is a great sketch. Maybe this weekend I can get to it.

Debbie - I thought the doilies were one big heart shaped doily at first. Your layout is fantastic, too!

Great layout Christie!! What a cute photo too.

Pam, I never noticed that about the doilies, but yes it does resemble a heart. As Bob Ross says, "that's a happen accident"!!

Love it Christy! I've got my photo selected - I just need to get to the basement and do it. I got sucked into a Lost marathon on January 1st and spent the whole night watching those recordings. Probably going to do the same thing tonight. But I'm planning on spending a bunch of time scrapping this weekend. :-)

Thanks Deb for this challenge. It was just what I needed to get my act in gear and do a layout. This is of my oldest grand-daughter in 2010. Just what I needed to start working on finishing that album. The paper came from the Webster box. Not the best picture of the layout. It is washing out some of the colors, but I didn't want to have to get my camera and download pictures.
