Halloween Swap Show and Tell

Post by pbp908 »

Everyone should have their cards by now. For those who didn't join in on this swap - you missed making wonderfully spooky and fun trips to your mailbox!

Left is Deb Barnhill's spidery goodness. She included a wonderful ATC witch I love! Right side is Sue's tricked out treaters. I had to include a scan of that envelope - I do love witches!

Left is Farley's haunted house. If this doesn't make you want to buy the new TH inks, you're tighter than the proverbial Scot! Right is Nancy's wise owl blinking down at us silly mortals.

Left side is Debi D's purple and black spookiness. I. Love. That. Stamp. Right is our Layering Queen - Pam C! I ordered a witch die because of this card. You are the supreme enabler!

Next up is Monica's poefectly spooky card on the left. Love the vintage look. The right side is Julie's tri-fold card - one photo does not do it justice so I have 3!

Wow! So sorry I missed out this year. These are all fantastic and I can see I'll be ordering a witch die for next year! And maybe a couple of new stamps too! Thanks for sharing all the eye candy!

The lovely card on the left is from Pam P. (Joel was amazed you have a chicken wire stamp!).
The one on the right is from Debbie B. I wish you all could see the subtle layers! And the one in front is from Monica. The brad on the top left is a picture of E. A. Poe! How wonderful is that?!

Talk about eye candy! I just love these cards and how totally different each one is.

Sue your bird cage is ideal for displaying art!

So here is my collection of fabulous cards.

First photo: I have them displayed atop my bird book bookcase. I’ve had the Owl book displayed of late so I kept it there...I thought it was befitting of the cards.

Second photo, left to right: Monica...love the Ideaology acyrlic blocks with the pictures underneath...awesome owl! PamP...fabulous collage for the background and very fun washi tape. PamC...as everyone has noted, the Cluster Queen strikes again! Sue...Absolutely adorable with those children looking at the haunted house. The details on your card are outstanding.

Third photo, left to right: Nancy...that owl is wonderful and I suspect it’s the same species on my Owl book cover, LOL. Really like the spider web die and how you used it. DebiD...those bats flying out of the jack-o’lantern are the best. The addition of the black glitter really sets them off. DebbiB...I’m still figuring out the very cool plastic cover and how you stamped it. Love it. Julie I am so proud of you for diving into this project with your wild schedule and you used my challenge card no less. It’s fabulous! Love the owl paper on the front and the dripping “happy Halloween” in purple glitter is terrific.

Thank you all for gracing my living room with your wonderful art!

This was such a fun swap! I was out of town last week and came home to Monica's card. Mine are all on my mantle. I'll post them if I get a chance, but I've got another chaotic week ahead of me. But they're all awesome, and will probably stay on my mantle until Christmas. :-)

These are all wonderful! Since I was "out of town" for the swap, I have cards from a previous year on display. The standard is very high every year, I think because it is just plain fun to do!
