October 2013 Card Sketch Challenge

Post by ScrappinJen »

Okay, no more excuses. I have returned from South Dakota, just in the nick of time to see Mount Rushmore before the government shut down. Getting my affairs in order again but I still am cheating a bit by stealing another sketch from Operation Write Home. So this will be our sketch for October. If you want to check out their website and participate there, as well, here is the link: http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-192/

And here is the sample I made using my latest Simon Says Stamp Card Kit called Season of Thanks. Here's a link if you'd like to check out more samples. http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/octob ... t-gallery/ Love these papers and the stamp set.

Thanks for playing along with me. Hope to see some fun cards soon. Happy weekend.

Dang that's a cute card. Was that one of yesterday's too? I don't remember that larger birdie. You made so many great ones.

And BTW all, this really is a fabulous SSS kit this month. Yesterday Jen and I met up a my nearby LSS to card away the day with our kits. Jen made a pile of awesome cards with these happy papers and stamps.

This will be another fun sketch to use. I'll get busy.

Pat, very sweet card. Love the pattern selections. And a lovely flower, too.
