I made two versions last night - and found the one I liked best! Then I was a sweaty mess after spending time in the hot garage. Now That I know what to do I can bring it in the house and work on it!

I'm going to have to bow out of this swap for now... once I get home at night, I can't see to make anything since there's no power... and I can't count on having any anytime soon... they're working as hard as they can to get generators working, but this is a full summer-time load on the electricity and the generators aren't meant to provide power for hundreds of huge houses with A/C running.... difficult to get folks to turn them off... so... we'll see how all this goes

My ATCs are finished and I love them! Prototype? I just went for it - and it all came together even better than in my head. So glad you suggested this Pam C and that I had time to participate; these were too stinkin' fun to put together. Plus, I incorporated Pam P's fiber challenge; it's still July so I'm totally counting that, although you'll have to take my word for it until they've been received. Here they are - but you'll need your x-ray vision to see them underneath that paper LOL; this is how my desk looked when they were done.

I have an envelope from Pat which I assume could be an ATC. Are we opening any time or on the special day or ???

Well, I was almost done with all of mine and decided I didn't like them so I started over and went in a totally different direction. I like these better and will finish them up today or tomorrow.

And now a little story. My brother and 11 year old niece were visiting us last month and on their last day here, my niece was looking through all the crafty things I have in my antique card catalog. One of the drawer contains all the ATCs I have made or received and she loved them all. I gave her some of my duplicates (I usually make extras, just in case) and quickly put together a large envelope of supplies so she could make some. Today I received two cards that she made and she definitely "gets it".

I've been going through my stash and have been doing a little shopping and am putting together a box full of goodies that I'll send her next week.

The USPS is quick at times! Those were mailed on Wednesday. Mine were simple, as that's where my mind is lately. I do like that Precision Press from WRMK. Thanks for liking my ATC's.
