Stamptember Challenge 2 - Background

Post by nchoney »

Background – Use a stamp as a background image. Yep… another easy one.. BUT – it doesn’t have to be a background stamp. It can be a single image or several images that you stamp to create a one-of-a-kind background for either your scrapbook layout or for a card. I’m even going to break out my Stampin’ Up roller stamps and make some backgrounds.

Here is a simple stamped background with one big stamp. It's not quite NBUS but very close. The center diecut is from the swap. From Debbie, maybe. The other two are ancient stash.

Nice background. I love that it adds color/texture without distracting from the overall design.

Thanks, Pam. That was what I was going for with all those dots, etc. on the butterflies. Some straight lines would be a contrast.

Very pretty Marianne. Yes, that is one of my butterfly dies. You did a great job. The butterflies really stand out.

Here's one I did for my granddaughter's birthday coming up. That's a die cut from the swap but don't remember who sent it. It was cut out of chipboard but I added story sky distress ink and some glitter spray.

Marianne I love your butterflies! They always add so much to a card or layout.

Debbie that is a super birthday card for your granddaughter. Glitter spray tops off so many things well.

Very nice, Debbie. It's fun to have the diecuts and also fun to alter them to fit the situation.

Nice cards, both of you! I'm going to try all my challenges tomorrow. Today was busy with Fire Dept 9/11 event.

Oh wow, great cards.

Marianne you're on a butterfly roll today! That background is very cool and I like the structured feel of it with the butterflies.

Debbie, you've got two challenges covered with your card...backgrounds and music. The star is perfect and I really like how you altered it.
