For those of you not on FB Cheryl Mixon is in the hospital. She is having more tests run but it seems like it was a TIA. Keep her in your prayers.

sending prayers to her
Re: Cheryl Mixon
Katie, her daughter, did say yesterday that she was feeling better and there was a possibility that she might be discharged today. Let's hope so.

Re: Cheryl Mixon
Hi ladies, I'm alive but not quite well yet. I go today to get a monitor to wear for the next 3 weeks. Merry Christmas to me. I will admit that I was pretty scared. I will copy the update I put on fb last night for those of you who dont have me. So many things to worry about already and now this to be added. I feel beaten....but at least I'm still alive. Thank you for thinking for me and thanks for your continued prayers
I am home now. As I sat here reading all the posts, I had to cry. Thank each and every one of you for all your prayers, thoughts, comments, hugs, your calls and texts.
Fri afternoon I wasnt feeling so good and had blurred vision in my right eye. Thinking the vision would clear up, I went to work anyway. After being there a couple hours, I felt as though I had no skeletal system, just like a jelly fish and apparently a bit incoherent (although I didnt realize it and had to be told) I called my boss and told her that I needed someone to come in and work for me, she told me to call my daughter and she'd be there right away (and she was). When Katie got there, I told her i needed to be driven home, thank goodness she didnt listen to me.
My heart rate dropped as low as 30 bpm and blood pressure was somewhere around 190 over 109. They moved me into a trauma room so they'd have room for the crash cart which scared the hell outta me because I knew the chances of the heart rate maybe not staying up. I was closely monitored and put on meds to try to control the issues. I'll be wearing a heart monitor for the next 3 weeks while I try to live a (new) normal life.
I will keep all of you updated as new things come up. Thank you again for all the support. I love you all.
