Poppies challenge! Lucky Winner announcement added!

I keep seeing poppies popping up (ugh - sorry) everywhere in art work.

The challenge is to create a piece of art and use a poppy on that piece of artwork. How easy is that? I know some of you have posted some already this month and so your pieces are already entered (if you still have photos you can post in this thread, that would be great).

Be creative - photograph them (I miss the golden poppies of California!), paint them, draw them, make them realistic or very abstract or somewhere in-between. ATCs, art journal pages, canvases, jewelry, page embellishments - whatever!

Bonus points if your piece qualifies you to enter another challenge on this site, too.

Wow-I love all of the poppies! Hope, Carol, Pam---they all rock! I need to loosen up. I am so afrain of my lack of talent! I did try one, I will post as soon as I get my camera going!
