That's a lot more appealing than Donna Downey's $600+ deal she is offering! I joined the FB group and bookmarked the page. Looks like fun. Some of these mixed media artists are going overboard with what they are starting to charge for the same thing other people offer for free.

I'll need to find a journal or composition book.. and maybe I can get started on this project, too... never know.. LOL

I love Donna but the price was insane. There is so much free and inexpensive ideas and classes on the web.

I really love the way you have blended the photos into the backgrounds. Are these photos you printed yourself or commercial prints? Are they on photo paper or something thinner? I ask because I have trouble blending commercial photos on thicker paper into a background.

Marianne…the first page I used a commercially printed photo.

I think because the page was so textured that when I added the photo and then paste on top it blended better than normal
I know what you are talking about. For me it's almost hit or miss.
Sometimes I can blend it in real well and others no matter what I still have the edges.

For the second page it's a photo printed on card stock at home

Is there a way to block all the posts you get on your FB page for this project?
I'd rather just see them on the Doc. Life page...

you have to change it in facebook under the sites receive notices
