This is too funny. Someone must be spying on us. If you have too many of those PL cards and want another use for them, this class is for you…look what is being offered at Big Picture Classes:

I know. And that other online magazine CREATE also has an article on using up those cards. They must be stalking PAO.

I just had a summer vision of us as kids with playing cards pinned to our bike spokes...riding fast with our feet off the pedals and our hair flying in back of us...

Yeah, I really did. :D

Me too Nancy. I would ride my bike with my neighborhood girl friends to the pool and later to get ice cream. We would be out ALL day. Get home in time for dinner and then go play Kick the Can in our street with the boys in the dark till we dropped. Then we would repeat it the next day.

This page has two (bad) photos taken Thanksgiving 2012. My mom, my son, my grandson and me.
On the page, I used five 3 x 4 cards (one of them is a transparent one) and one 3 x 6 card - all from Rhonna's MME collection.

Very nice, Pam, the cards blend right in with the papers. This is how I imagine using them.

Here is my LO I have submitted to BPC "Scrapping Outside the Pocket". I am really enjoying this class. My goal is to make double pages when possible using Monica Bradford's lessons for one page and the regular pocket style for the accompanying page.

First page is the actual assignment. I started with the easiest lesson (there are 3 lessons this week) just using cards for journaling and matting. The Authentique paper really complimented my Western Meadowlark photo. It was fun to also use my JudiKins Meadowlark stamp and the Alisa Burke feather stamps.

Second page reflects my objective to use the pocket style scrapping to accompany a 12x12 LO and give me lots of canvases to use as I please. All the matting (with the exception of the 6x12 vertical panel) is with PL core kit cards.

Pam your LO is fabulous! I would never have even realized they were pocket cards you used. Awesome.
