This weekend...(6/21-22)

Post by pamcook »

I almost didn't post this because I know EVERYONE will be busy with camp projects - but - for those overachievers among us...Shimelle is hosting an online crop this weekend. She posted the announcement on facebook yesterday and I can't remember if she said it starts Friday or Saturday. My lofty goal is to incorporate project ideas from her site into my camp projects. We'll see how that comes out.

If anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll try to find the facebook post.

The one I took was really good but she has tons and tons of videos on youtube (as well as her blog) and I've learned so very much from her videos.

On Saturday, Nicole has a piano recital at 11 and a volleyball game at 12. And yes, we're planning on making both. :-)

After that, we need to put some time in on cleaning up the basement and re-packing the stuff from the storage area that got wet. But I do hope to at least get some photos ordered this weekend so that I can start making layouts with all of my newly acquired stash. I'm not sure what's on the agenda for Sunday, but there will probably need to be some shopping in preparation for girl scout camp the following week. We never can seem to keep a flashlight or a mess kit in good working condition for more than one camp.

Call me if you get a minute this weekend. If we're home, maybe we can join you for a meal?

I think we'll be busy most of the time. But I really need to come out there again for a visit. :-)

Friday, June 20th, is West Virginia Day so we are closed. Yahoo! I hope to get some scrapping done, but I also want to paint my front door and do some yard work. Well, actually I don't want to do the yard work, but need to do it.

Judy - what color are you painting your front door? Mine needs it but it's just too danged hot here for outdoor projects. I missed my spring window of opportunity. Everything's on hold until late fall now.

Debi - have a great time! Will try to meet up with you next time.

Tropical Oasis by Valspar. It is a medium turquoise. I am also going to spray paint my house numbers silver. It is black right now and the brass numbers have darkened so you can hardly read them.
