Have you looked at the prompts for last year? You can always work on the first one tomorrow. I think it's the hardest one because I'm such a Scrooge.

I wish today was 12/1. Coming back to work was rather dreadful. It would be nice to have them to look forward to today.

I'm with you Marianne but I want to have a brilliant idea. Instead, I'll do my bullet-points again, listing my plans for the month (conveniently leaving out any work party/obligations). Even though I want to over-think my manifesto, I'm doing my best to avoid it!

I looked at some of the discussion of the "manifesto" on the JYC board.... and I'm kinda liking the idea of a list... or a quote from someone or something else. No sense in making this harder than it has to be... especially right from the very beginning. :-)

I don't know what to do for the manifesto. Firstly, I think it's too grand a word and puts people off. A simple list or quote sounds good to me and that is what most people do. Maybe this year, mine will be "Bah Humbug"! That's a quote, right? I need to go away somewhere for December and do something new to get excited about.

When you find that new thing to get excited about, let me know. I've been in "bah humbug" mode for several years now. I desperately need to find a way out of it.

I've just been on goodread.com looking at Christmas quotes. I think I am going to choose several to sprinkle through my book and elaborate on rather than distill my wishy washy feelings onto one page.
I forgot my camera when I went to the quilt group luncheon today. Maybe it is just as well, we all look like old ladies.

Love the way you think Marianne! Washi tape part...not old lady part.

i think "old lady" is a state of mind! One of the ladies at the quilt lunch appeared in hot pink leggings and knee high leather boots, hair in a ponytail with ringlets over the ears. I didn't recognize her! The mind boggles but I'd like to have the figure for the leggings and boots.

I need to take some photos, too.
Our internet has been sketchy tonight so I did some more decluttering. Threw out a kitchen trash bag of stuff from my craft supplies. Going to get my pages and journaling caught up and hopefully take some photos tomorrow.
