Scrapbook & cards sample kits

Post by pamcook »

First one arrived yesterday. Completely underwhelmed. Did anyone else subscribe?

Of course if I use the items, the value improves.
Would anyone like the pig stamp?

It looks nice except for the pigs! But you see a lot more current stuff in kits than I do.

So.... why does their site say this kit is "handpicked" for you? Apparently, it's not really.

Hopefully, you'll find a use for most of the things you're getting!!

I’ve used quite a bit of stuff (from my stash) in my 2018 planner. I ruthlessly throw away each month as I add another so it’s kind of fun to use up stuff I don’t absolutely love.
I might see how much I can use on a couple of scrapbook pages. Except those pigs.

I’ve used one since 1988. My whole life is in that thing!

Nope. Never got into using one, even back in high school.

My planner is my journal and I've had them since I was in middle school.
Long before they were the "cool" things they are now.

So cool that I have 2 children on the bed behind me working on theirs. What's old is new again.

I got mine too, but I like most of what I got, aside from the paperclip thingies that I never seem to use and end up tossing. My stamp set was different than yours, Pam. Did yours include the die as well? I thought that was pretty cool.

I do like yours better so I’ll hope for a better kit next month.
Did you see I cut the clip parts off the two I used on my page? I think there is a die along with the stamp. Your stamp is much cuter!

When I went back to look, I did. And that's a good idea. Looks like there were at least two different stamp sets. Shame you got one you don't like.
