Inspiration Emporium

Post by pbp908 »

They have a warehouse sale currently on. You have a choice between 2 boxes for 39.95 - one is plain, sweet and simple, and the other is vintage/mixed media. Free shipping. They also have a box of "gently loved" items for 19.95 with free shipping. I ordered a mixed media box and a gently loved box. If it weren't right after Christmas, I'd have ordered one of each.

If I understand correctly, they're shutting down the online sales portion of their business. Hate to see them go if so - they had a wonderful shopping site.

I don't think I ever knew about them. So sad when favorites close. :(

Today was a great mail day. First of all - an envelope from Farley with some great PL cards. Thank you, Farley!

Second was my "gently loved" box from Inspiration Emporium. When I say it was packed, it was. And if any of it was gently used, you couldn't prove it by me. 99. 9% of it is still in the original packaging and doesn't appear to have ever been opened. Some of the stamps are a little cutesy, but that seems to be a trend now so I'll find a use for them.
4 Color Box ink pads and 1 refill
4 Distress Stains
3 Distress Markers
3 jars of Sparkly Fluff
1 huge bottle of Ice Stickles
3 new bottles of Distress Stickles
3 packages of chipboard- 2 flower shapes and one generic shapes
1 package of Ranger manilla tags
5 packages (self-adhesive) and one bottle of rhinestones and pearls
1 Color Wash
1 pack of buttons and 1 pack of brads
4 wood mounted stamps
7 sets of photopolymer stamps
1 package of TH fragments
1 package of Splash pins
1 Sizzix Bigz die for making Flip-It cards

And this was the small box. Can't wait to see the big one when it comes.

So... here's my 'gently used' box... most of which was never even touched as far as I can tell. That box was jam-packed!

Nice! I feel like we're being compensated by the crafting gods for all the disappointing grab boxes over the years.

Okay, given what I got today, I'd have to say my first box was the mixed media one. What I got today was definitely the gently used box. Not bad at all. ;)
