Pam I am in love with these last 3 boy LOs. They are perfect and that baby LO and baby are just too adorable for words. Not sure it needs anything at all.

Thanks. I feel like it's the balloons that's throwing me off. Interestingly enough, I have an order coming with some boy embellishments. Maybe something in that collection will work better. And I feel like I need to fussy-cut the deer and put something else behind him. That WHITE background is distracting. Right now, it's finished.

You're right, Pam. Those 2 items are what my eye immediately went to - not the photo. I love the rest of the LO tho. Fatter of fact - I love all of these LOs! Getting lots of ideas to steal. ;)

I like the idea of fussy cutting the deer.... or adding something to cover some of the white.... the balloons might work better if they go up from something instead of going down below the banner... that might be what's throwing it off a bit

My first thought when I looked at it was move the balloons to the top left a bit over top of the tag. Before you fussy cut the deer, you could just cut away some of the excess white around him and see if that helps. I'm afraid if he is fussy cut then he will look too wimpy.

Adorable layout!

Okay at second look I would have to agree about the balloons. They need a bit of anchoring and higher placed. Maybe If you cut the deer out in a circle or oval shape instead of fussy cutting.

This one is lifted from one on Studio Calico's Pinterest.
Yes, I used my sewing machine AND a packaging technique.

The images we've got linked in our signatures aren't being hosted correctly online. Just need to remove them.

This is my son with one of my nephews. They hadn't seen each other in quite a few years. Our nephew and his wife drove from WV to the west coast and up to WA before heading east & home again. All but three nights were spent in tents. I know Chris was happy to have family visit - even just for a night.

I really struggle with non-girly layouts. The page that inspired this one was originally on Two Peas but I found it on one of Shimelle's Pinterest boards. Loads of scraps were used on this page.
