Valentine postcards

Post by pamcook »

Inspired by one I found on Pinterest. For a swap on another site. Red is hard for me - too much like blood splatter. IRL, the pink is more prominent.

I like. Who made the stamps? I have nothing for V day cards and really like those.

I was wondering if it was too early to start thinking about the Valentine swap we talked about in here... guess it's not! I just hate to rush past Christmas.... but it might be time to start swapping names and thinking along those lines.

Those postcards are very cool!!

The Love stamp is from a Technique Tuesday set from years ago. The heart is from another unknown set. Will take a photo when I'm home. Someone will recognize it.

Here they are.

I've just looked at approximately 5,000 items with the tag words "Valentine" and "heart." Didn't find those but found some I like. Unfortunately, I just placed a large order with Unity (end of year sale!) and will have to wait a little while to gratify my shopping urge.

Jeez, I foresee pink and red things coming up in my near future.

It's all Christy's fault. Lisa Vollrath does postcard swaps. Every time, I say I'm not going to participate again and I can't stop myself! It's only 4 postcards. Easy peasy. Class starts on Tuesday so my playing days are coming to a close.

Ooooh Pam...I like these! I've been thinking along Valentine lines already also. I need to come up with something clever. Valentine's Day is my anniversary. Our 29th for being married and 30th for the day we met.

I'll probably let myself get suckered in for a swap if there is one.

They are very nice Pam! I tend to stay away from Valentines stuff but may need to make some for the grands. Little ones also love getting mail. I know I have some hearts some where, Stampin' Up! even had some that I got.
