Distress Oxide card play

Post by Keitha »

I was inspired earlier in the week by a YT video to try stamping over a Distress Oxide background which I hadn't done yet. Broken China, Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade oxide inks on cold press w/c paper background, overstamped with Peeled Paint (stars). The coolest thing about these inks is how the colours morph and separate when you add water to them. Image stamped on hot press w/c paper (smoother finish), and coloured with regular distress inks and a water brush. No sentiment yet as I don't know what I'll use the card for.

It turned out great Keitha, aren't those inks fun to play with.
And I've read today around the interwebs that 12 new colors are coming out, OH No.

I was going to say the same thing. Oh, no....more colors. Not that I deserve any more since I've done relatively nothing with the ones I own. Some still in wrapper.

I love that doggie card. Fantastic.

I read that about the new colours also. I, for one, will be ordering them all as soon as I can get my hands on them - that's how much I love these.

Pretty card, Keitha. I finally got my hands on 10 of the original colors, I definitely want some of the new ones too. They are so fun to play with. I know I have lots of inks but these are really different.
