Christmas cards - Improved Versions Posted

Post by pugmom »

I saw these stamps at PaperArtsy and although I'm not usually a fan of theirs, I thought these were adorable. I had a very hard time finding them, but The Frantic Stamper had a few and I received them within a couple of days. I used an Action Wobble (from Hampton Art) for the inside so when you open the card they dance around a bit.

These are for two of my nieces.

Adorable cards Sue! And what a clever idea. This would work for just about any stamp. Love the group of characters.

I wasn't real happy with the original cards - they just looked unfinished, so I added some paper and some other embellishments to the insides and I'm much happier with them now. I also made a card for my oldest niece.

Love the remake of the cards. Extra goodies always help.

Love the one for your niece. I haven't done one of those cuts for a very long time. Don't even know if I still have the dimensions. Would you share them please!

I cut mine with the Silhouette - no measuring or hand scoring. Here is a template from The Mad Stamper (stampingmadly.com) that is 12 x 5.5 and gives the score and cut lines.
Have fun!

OMGosh Sue! I didn’t think improvement was needed or possible. Fabulous. And that Polar Bear...he’s adorable and the card is a great reminder...I too have it on my KNK.

Super cute cards! And thanks for the cutting/scoring diagram. I do love a fancy fold card! I think I've made that one before, but it's been a while.

Sue thanks so much. I know I have one of those cards around here somewhere but no idea where. This is a template I will keep, I don't use a cricut to cut anything any more. Mine hasn't run in two years (or more).
