A Little This n' That More Beads

Post by azemigh »

My altered art group met today and I taught how to make those Enameled Paper Beads. We had fun, I didn't get a lot of pictures nor did I get many beads made, but I did make these 2 beads that I want to use for doll's legs; they are 3.5 inches long.

We are also doing a puzzle swap among 10 of us. I have mine finished, but we'll do the swapping next month so I'll show you that one when I get all the pieces.

Last month 4 of us got together and did the little slider frames that were a project from a past CS retreat. I don't have any photos yet, but this is how mine turned out.

Everything looks wonderful, Rachelle! I'm very intrigued by those enameled paper beads as doll's legs; I do hope you'll show us the finished doll at some point.

Rachelle makes great dolls! I have one of her dolls that guards my flower stash.

I remember doing puzzle swaps. Those were so much fun.

Anyone have any blank puzzles? I got one from Debbie in my swap box so I'm ready!

I think you can get them from Oriental Trading, but don't hold me to that. They'd all need to be the same.

I got a 12 pack on amazon for us to do the swap; they ended up being $1 a piece.

yesterday I got a chance to finish up the beads I started in the class I taught. Never seem to get anything done when I'm the teacher  I was concentrating on making long beads for doll arms and legs. Now, I need to make another doll and use them.
