In 2005, I made a quilt with a lot of image transfers of parts of buildings on it. It was named
Fragments. There were a lot of transfers, the release papers and practice pieces leftover that I wanted to do something with. It occurred to me recently that they might be good practice for some painting.
Here are a few of the pages with the fabric and paper transfers glued to them with some other bits of stuff. Since I took the photos, I took them apart so each spread is a single layer. When they are all finished they will be sewn back to back to make signatures.

I did this practice spread to decide on supplies needed and will take the pages along on the Aussie trip for something to do. I'm trying to do this in a style reminiscent of DJ Pettitt.
