I have to agree! You have done an amazing job.
paddlegal wrote:Oh Rachelle!!!! The invitations are gorgeous, truly gorgeous. And really, you making them rather than the person who flaked on you makes them all the more special.

Love the flowers and the boutonnières with the berries and pinecone are fabulous. Beautifully done.

Just beautiful Rachelle!
Having made 200 invites for my daughter's SIL this summer I know the work involved! And only 2 people at the wedding complimented me - My husband said they are probably the only two who knew you made them!

The flowers are really spectacular, wonderful work!

Been in full crank out mode on the invitations as they are going out in a couple of weeks. Finished up yesterday with 35 invitations and 35 response cards. Since they're having a very small wedding (50 people) I will be making similar looking announcements to send out on their wedding day to all our extended family and friends as well. Those I can do at a more leisurely pace though.

Here are the response cards. I also made boxes for the cards using the Paper Luggage project from Club Scrap's Arts and Crafts scrap wrap.

I believe I have completed the flowers (that I'm in charge of) for the wedding. 7 boutonnieres for the groomsmen, 1 for the groom, and 5 corsages, 2 for myself and mother of the bride and 3 for grandmothers. They will all get a sprig of fresh cedar right before the wedding.

And finally the bride's maids are going to carry lanterns instead of bouquets. One of the lanterns is going to have the rings suspended from a gold thread. I put in a sample ring to show. There's an electric candle in each lantern.
