Wire Wrapped Jewelry

Post by paddlegal »

I belong to a neighborhood beading group that meets every other month. Yesterday we met and our hostess had us revisit wire wrapping. We learned this technique last summer from one of the ladies who is a retired orthodontist and believe me, she knows wire wrapping. Anyway I hadn't touched wire in months but after we all made a bracelet I went home and grabbed some "holiday" looking beads to make a necklace to be worn today to a holiday luncheon. My skill level is bad but I love idea of linking beads together this way.

Thanks for looking:

OH my - that's beautiful!
And you're so right about the orthodontist's skills with wire.

That looks really nice, Farley, and you certainly got a lot of practice wrapping wire. That is really funny about a retired orthodontist doing wire wrapped jewelry in her retirement.

It turned out great - and the beads are so dang pretty no one would notice if your wire wrapping wasn't as good as an orthodontists! Heck, looks perfect to me!
