Agreed, it's nice to be able to come here and talk about "other" companies too instead of just Club Scrap all the time.

Well, it wasn't me who tattled..... I can see both sides of it, but agree that what happens on PAO stays on PAO. If others from CS decide to join PAO, then they can go through the registration process like the rest of us.

Having said all that, let's move on before feelings get hurt and we have people leaving. I feel like a tiny part of me goes every time a valued PAO sister decides to move on.... and I'd rather this didn't escalate into that sort of scenario, ya know? ;)

Still don't like the current CS digi format though..... and that opinion isn't likely to change unless they do!!

I agree, Monica!! Time to move on to something more pleasant-especially since I started this whole thing.
I don't care who said it. I just hope the next time they consider other options.

I'm trying to do the ones made with the hand.
I'm almost done so I'll try to share tonight or in morning before I leave.

I want to do a journal, but don't know where to start. We need a "how to" thread. Do you make signatures and then sew them together or do you purchase a watercolor journal? I don't have a clue and really want to try my hand at this. I'm hoping it will make me a little more "loose" with my creating instead of being so dratted linear and stick in the mud.

And I really hope that our CS members (of which I'm one, albeit only digi right now) don't take offense and leave. Everyone is welcome and this site has no allegiance to any company other than the "where did you find that?" company of the day! And that's the beauty of it!

Speaking of which, have you guys been keeping up with the Blue Moon blog? Loved the videos they posted from CHA. I can see that this is going to be the year I learn to do "girly girl" pages. Really really want some of the Pink Paislee Parisian paper and the TH kraft resist. Those look like fun!

Whatever you want to do, Pam! Some people start with loose paper and bind it later and some start with a finished book. If you go to blogs of art journalers, you will see all sorts of variations. There is probably enough just on here to give you a good idea and get you going.

I started this way. Not sure if it is right but it's my way
I bought a tablet of watercolor paper. I bought a tablet at Michaels
I folded on sheet in half right across the middle. Makes it 6 X 9.
After I get 2 of these papers done, I'll sew them into signatures.
i learned alot from CS on signatures and watched videos that people here sugested.
I haven't decided on a cover yet but I'll think on it.
