Make It Yours - Big Picture Classes

Post by ScrappinJen »

I'm currently taking a little class at BPC on making your own pocket cards. Excellent way to combine my interest in 12x12 scrapbooking, my ability to stick with small projects, and using the card skills I have learned over the past few years.

First lesson involved stamping. As usual, I didn't stray too far from the teacher's examples but at least I did some homework for a change. I think I will ink the edges. My hours spent watching Tim, Shimelle and others have made me unable to be satisfied with plain edges. Thanks for looking.

Great job with these!
 about the inked edges - I'm the same way! It's a rare event when I don't ink mine and I feel like my hands are being tied behind my back.

These are terrific. Love the colors and yes, I always ink the edges. It takes the harshness of sharp edges away and also causes the eye to focus on what is important.

For my second batch of cards, I used die cuts to assemble. Stamps and dies are mostly Technique Tuesday. Loving this class. It's not like me to do my homework.

Excuse the green Stickles. I was in a hurry to photograph and they hadn't yet settled and flattened. Stickles are to me what the candy dots are to the rest of you. I loves me Stickles.
