Gorgeous, Monica! I suspect, like you, I'll end up ordering the lot of them - although I want to see a really good reason why I need brown...

Monica, that turned out great!
Oh I've been resisting.... But maybe if they have some Tuesday at Renegades I might spend that $30 gift card I've been hoarding!

Monica that is fabulous! Your background turned out great and the whole tag is wonderful. You really used your supplies/stash well on this one!

Love the tag, Monica! Fortunately for me, these are an easy resist. I am definitely in the minority - the effect is OK, but nothing I'd ever personally want to achieve on any of my own stuff really. And I don't make tags, and I don't see using this in my scrapbook layouts. I might buy one to try if I have a M coupon burning a hole in my wallet. But I think I'll just enjoy sitting back and watching you gals play. :-)

They didn't have any at the store yesterday, but they had some tags Laurie brought back from CHA, gorgeous! I like it even better than regular Distress Inks! Not sure when they will have theirs in stock, but Renegades meet again March 7th ;)

I love the look and Monica, your tag!!! The depth of color is so pretty. I still can't justify the purchase but barely resisting!

I wonder what happens if you use the distress Inks and the new Oxide ones together. Did anyone mention that in the demos?

I believe Ken McGuire used both in one application. Duh. I totally forgot that I bought two. Will try to play this weekend.

Hey, that is Jen, not Ken, the magical inventor of Press n Seal.

I allowed myself about 5 minutes of playtime with them last night. I just did a basic stamping on white as well as black card stock with a solid flower stamp. The colors are so rich and opaque like you would expect with pigment ink. The black wasn't bad either, just not as vibrant as it was on white. I hope I'll have time soon for blending techniques.

The rest of mine came, so I anticipate some play time this weekend. I really want to try them on black and kraft, as the results on those are stunning. Aside from the Jen McGuire video I linked above, there's also one on Youtube of Tim demoing them at Creativation, and he goes into more detail on the unique properties, using them on different surfaces, and that kind of thing. I wasn't going to get sucked into it, but the results of just playing around for a few minutes were stunning!
