UTEE and Perfect Pearls Pendants

A couple weeks ago we were discussing UTEE and Pearl Ex and the like and I mentioned some jewelry pieces we made at Scramp Camp. So since I had the melting pot out last night for the bead class I made a few of these up and took photos to show you how to do it too!

Supplies:
Melting Pot
Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (UTEE) - clear
FLEX - not needed, but helps make the finished piece less fragile
Perfect Pearls or Pearl Ex
Interesting background stamps
Memory Frames

1. Get your UTEE and Flex melting in the Melting Pot.
2. Mix some clear UTEE and the Perfect Pearls in small cups.

3. Turn the stamps you want to use rubber side up on your work surface and place the memory frames on an area that looks good to you.

4. Once the UTEE is all melted add small puddles of the now colored UTEE to the pot and allow that to melt.

5. Now you are going to carefully pour your mixture into the frames, let it fill up nice and high.

6. Let it sit until it's really cooled down. Remember it's VERY hot and the frame will also be very hot. If you get a little bubble you can zap it with your heat gun to "pop" it.

7. Carefully pull up - it releases very easily - turn over and see your work of art.

If you don't like how they turn out - very easy to open the frame, remelt and try again!
I made little "buttons" with the leftovers in the pot by pouring the mixture into washers and then they pop right out after drying.
