You and me both Pam. There is so much that I get on a conceptual level, but when it comes to just letting loose and "playing", I just freeze. I'm hoping her free spirit is contageous, and I come out of those classes willing and able to try whatever, and not worry about whether I like it or not. I'm really excited about being in her studio now that I've seen a few videos.

Since I know you all are watching for an update from me - partial success! I think I was using too much gel medium and removing the image too soon. This time I left it on too long but part of the image didn't transfer. Okay in this instance. I might be getting the hang of it!

What and where are the videos that you are watching, Pam? I didn't see it searching on her blog.
I'd like to see what she is doing.

Thanks, Paula, I hadn't refreshed my bookmark of her site for a few weeks so I've missed a lot.

Here's the page I did tonight. The transfer was from a photo of a column - so not a lot of detail. I LOVE how it turned out. It was pretty scary looking about half way through but now I'm happy (even if I don't know what today's date is...)

Pam, that is a great page and a great transfer too.

I just did a retry on the transfers because I couldn't remember how I did everything before. I know that there are alot of ways to do a transfer but what I did was use Golden Gel Medium (matte). I used a bone folder and only went over the back of the image about 4 or 5 times. I waited not even a minute and started pulling off the backing. My backing came off in pieces and I had to roll some of the paper off with my fingers. Here are the two that I just did. I don't have the energy to do any more tonight.

Pam--that turned out wonderful!!! I love the phrase, and how you did the flowers. I started doing the transfers from DD website, I find her so encouraging!!

Gorgeous transfers Hope!! I need to get some Golden gel then. I have Liquitex and it's probably the same but something I'm doing is just not right.
