Here is an idea for using up those really old thin printed papers. I made this serendipity type collage of torn papers years ago and found it in the papers for Mom's album. Some of those papers were from the old Hot Off The Press books. One even looks like fake Japanese paper. I cut it into strips to use above and below the photos in the flower layout here:
