Collections Papers

Post by aprilpzzl »

Over on CS, we have a pretty large group doing a swap of pages that each other has made. I'm not suggesting a swap enough some of you are interested.

Using whatever stamps you want build a 8.5x11 page w masks over stamps in order to get clean images. I used glossy and Staz-On ink bec after you scan your page, you add color. I sponged on Distress Inks.

I know, Jill is doing one also. You might want to post it here, Jill. If others have also done one, join in. Takes a little time, but I enjoyed it.

That turned out very nice April.

I did not join in on this swap at CS...just enjoyed seeing what everyone came up with.

Very nice!
I'm not 100% sure about the details but I think it would be fun...

Cool!! You could even change it up and use Stampers Anonymous stamps or whatever! Great job!

Yes, use which ever stamps you want...travel, flowers, leaves, coffee, etc.

OK, for the process~there are probably other ways to do this as Jill did digis.

1. One 8.5x11 glossy cardstock
2. Randomly stamp a collection of stamps over the paper with Staz-On inks without overlapping.
You may want to keep the colors neutral in order to use various color combinations
on the base in the future.
3. Fill in the smaller spaces with background or smaller stamps. Stamp on scrap paper and cut out
several for the stamps and use these as masks in order to build a more even overall coverage.
4. When you are satisfied w your design and it is dry, scan an image of the stamped paper
5. Sponge on 3-4 colors of Distress Inks over the entire page.
6. Scan this page with color if you want to print these colors in the future.
7. Cut sheet and finish as desired for use in other projects.

HTH, let me know if you have other questions.

Here's my other one. It has a southwest theme with Adobe, Artifacts and Navaho stamps. I think I should have made the pots a little bigger, but I can always do another one.
