Stamp TV - 1st order here!

Post by tlscrap »

So although I love my Club Scrap
I did find this a few months ago... Stamp TV, my previous butterfly card was based on one of their video tutorials....

They are not a monthly club, but every 2 months, they come out with a new release, which consists of a stamp set, 8 1/2 x 11 papers, and 6x6 specialty papers, a few trinkets/brads, and ribbons...

After 2 months, the all-inclusive set is retired, and you can then buy only the stamps and papers separately.

WELL! I didn't know about the new releases until this week! Happened to catch it and WOWZA!!! I love this new kit! So much so I ordered it! It's a little more than CS, but I'm going to try it. For the next couple of months, videos will come out and show you how to make cards with it... there's already 1 up now...

So here's the video of the release and what you get:

...and here's the first card project with the Falling for You kit:

The papers look very nice, and looks like you get LOTS of ribbons, I love the thick padding on the stamps... we shall see I order the Falling for You kit, the Winter Wonderland stamps and 6x6 papers, and the Vintage Chic stamps (they were out of the Vintage Chic 6x6 papers :( ) I should be able to coordinate their 6x6 packs with the TONS of CS papers that I have ... lol!

Let me know if anyone else has ordered from them.

Theresa, I couldn't find a price anywhere. It seems you get a large amount of paper and ribbons. Just wondering if it is worth the cost?

Thanks.

What I did was hit the "shop" in the upper right hand corner, then I could search for that and all the other "kits" or kit papers or stamps...

That particular kit is $49.95... but hit shop and see what you can find on the other, the stamps are more than CS, and you don't get as much, but I really like the stamps and the project cards that she did and figured I could coordinate them with the CS papers that I have so much of. I did by the Falling For You complete kit, since that looked really nice ;)

Over time I've purchased several
Gina K stamp sets that I have been very happy
with, Some were with card kits which made several
following her directions or you could just use her
card kit examples as an idea to start with liike

I'm impressed with what all you get for that price. Almost bought it before I realized I can re-create most of the items from my stash. Of course the stamps are different but I have so many fall themed stamps that have never been used.

...and I'm kinda liking the sheets that come with it for the stamps... if you search out her binder, it's a binder with rings, but it's a plastic box.. very nifty...

Ok! My first StampTV order got here and I am PSYCHED!! I love the stamps, they're thick and yummy with thick foam backings, already mounted and precut so I don't need to mess with Tack It Over or messy up my scissors, they provide the 3 hole punched index sheets/cards (2 of them) to place them on, which fit into a 9x7 binder, yay! (off to Staples I go to get me some) and the papers are pretty yummy! Lots of fibers, too! This is actually the perfect card-making kit, I must say! I received the complete Falling for You, and the Winter Wonderland stamps with the 6x6 papers (kit already retired :( ) ... and Vintage Chic stamps will be here this week, which will go great with this month's CS kit ;)
