Re: Halloween Card Swap - signups ending!! Anyone else??

Post by pbp908 »

I'm actually ahead of the game for a change - half of mine are done! The room is a complete mess, and the cats are unhappy because I've forbidden them to jump on the table, but it's been a productive weekend. ;)

Good job, Pam.... can't wait to see what you're creating this year!!

Sign-ups are now closed.... so start making your cards anytime.... and then mail them in October so we can all enjoy them!! :cool5:

I hang them on my office door in October... so lots of people get to enjoy them!!

OK, dumb question, but are we just mailing out individual cards to the people on the list? And if so, are we actually sending Halloween cards to each other, signed an all? Or are we swapping cards to have a variety to send out to other people potentially?

Sorry... it's been a while since I've done a card swap. I think the last one I did was more of an exchange of finished cards that were for sending to others. But I wasn't sure if this was like that, or if I'm just wishing a Happy Halloween to everyone on the swap list. :D

Does it count if I've narrowed it down to two stamp sets? no, wait... three... four? :tomato:

Looking at my calendar, I think getting these cards finished might be at the very top of my agenda for this weekend. I have several started, but they're really just bases. I also came to the realization that nowhere in the hundreds and hundreds of stamps I have, is there a single Halloween image. There's hardly even anything remotely FALL related!

However, I do own a woefully underutilized "Happy Hauntings" Cricut cartridge... so it's time to put that to good use, I think.

Finished mine yesterday! Debi was so kind to use her amazing Silhouette skills to help me. My co-worker has declared them to be my "all time best card I want one". They didn't turn out the way I thought they would but I do love them!

Hint - they're orange and black. I know. Who would have thought?

I've got 5 in a substantially complete stage, but they all still need a little something else. Then I need to get 4 more started. I'm happy to see activity on this thread though - it reminds me that I still have work to do!
