While admitting to not being too active in recent months, I also would be sad to have PAO vanish. Debi, if you need any admin help I'm happy to oblige. I've been the website admin for my city for almost two years now, and while I know it's not like a forum in a lot of ways, I do have some basic knowledge of the technical end of things.

I love you all and would sorely miss PAO if it went to FB only.

I would not want to move to Facebook.

I do not like the never ending page that is Facebook. It's hard to find things unless people are meticulous about posting in Albums or Files. I don't like all the ads and garbage on the side of the screen and I do not use a phone. My eyes are getting older and I don't want to look at some tiny little screen. I like the big pictures of what we make so I can see the details. There is very little I do like about Facebook but in some groups now there is no other choice.

Something that we learned in another private FB group I am on is that if the person who started it leaves, everything that person posted/touched disappears. We lost Messages, Photo Albums and Files, etc. and that was a group that had only been going for a few months.

Definitely a good reason for keeping this forum, Marianne! I'd hate to lose things

So, yep, I donned my crazy-hat and volunteered to keep this site going. I've done a little reading on how this software gets updated. I'll have to do serious studying before making that jump. Baby steps!!

We´ll figure it out as we go forward.

I've been just a stalker here lately, lol, but would hate to see this page go to FB. Love being able to come and get my inspiration :D Being one of the first ones invited, I would be so sad. Guess I need to start posting more, and thanks Julie for all you have done with this page!

I asked my Network Admin if he'd had any experience with online bulletin boards and he's actually done work with this exact software setup... yay... so I'll be getting lessons from him once it comes time to do some updating of the software, etc. Wonderful news on that part!!

it'll be fun to learn something new... I know... I'm weird this way... haha

Since I'm just now checking in myself I also want to thank you both. I know nothing about any of the work involved but I do know it is a lot. Thanks to you both for all you do.
