I loved watching the eclipse. It was fascinating! I had glasses so I devoted the afternoon to going in and out to see the various phases. I love the shadows created from the leaves on the trees. We were at about a 95-96% here so at the peak there was only a tiny sliver left. I took some pictures of those and a couple of selfies with my glasses on. I plant to do an art journal page to mark the occasion.

Took me back to the first one I saw in the early '60's. We made the pin hole cameras. I remember standing in my front yard watching the eclipse. It was one of those memories imprinted in my mind.

All the pictures posted have been great. Great tee shirts, Debi.

Pam P that was awful that they didn't even at least take a break and let everyone go and watch. They definitely should have rescheduled.

Had to do a quick digi layout of our eclipse experience. We had so much fun and totality was absolutely spectacular. Heather made us eclipse cookies (black and whites) and we played games all week end leading up to our 2 hours of viewing. I just loved all the little crescents that the leaves created. These are 2 quick drops from Aurora Borealis (CS) pushed together for a double spread.

Fantastic Rachelle. You really had a great time out there. And definitely a perfect kit for it. AB was a favorite of mine and I used it for white water kayaking photos....versatile kit.

That layout has everything, Rachelle, even cookies! Beautiful kit to use for it.
