Everyone, stay safe and please check in when you can. Softball sized hail in Wake County. Tornados everywhere!

Scotland Co. is no longer on the tornado warning list. This is the remnants of Harvey.

And now we've got to keep an eye on Irma? At least I won't have to worry about getting to work with that one.

We've had super thunderstorms & lots of rain but no damage here. Not looking forward to this Irma. In hopes she passes us all by. Stay safe everyone.

Tornado about 5 miles from my house, hail and heavy rain. I'm out of state but my neighbor said everything looked ok. Hope there was no damage to my car.

There are disasters all over. Montana and Wyoming are on fire, bad . Say a prayer for my "adopted" grandson Chase to keep him safe as he fights these fires.

wow, everyone stay safe. Especially Chase fighting those fires!
That's some huge hail!

We made it through the 108 temp yesterday, it was a "horrible, awful" night as my husband kept saying.
San Francisco hit a record 106 degrees... unheard of in the city by the bay!

Today we are in for more of it.
Although this morning is pleasant, so I'm in the garage before the heat returns with a vengence.

Wow! It seems like all of the good weather is currently hanging out in the midwest - very odd for us. ;)

Having just been in San Fran, I can't imagine it so super hot there. Wow. I'll echo the wish for everyone to stay safe. And that goes double for first responders and volunteers who are out there helping people.

Fires and extreme weather. Boo. I remember the Santa Ana's when we lived in San Diego. Our family back east made fun of us for complaining but there was no way to escape from it.

Looks like Irma might be heading more west.... across the islands and then up through Florida/Georgia...

While I hate to have my prayers answered with it heading toward someone else.... I'm thinking I'll keep praying that it doesn't come here.... I know the gulf doesn't need it.... and Georgia doesn't need it either.... would be nice if we could capture all the rain and send it to the western states that need it so much...

Have to keep paying attention to it, though.... she's one of those ones that keep changing her mind each day... so we'll see what happens...

Joel's trying to decide whether to go buy a new generator or a tool box this morning. My pantry is full and your bedroom is ready, Debi. I think if he decides on buying the generator, you can just about bet Irma will go anywhere but here.

I think I'll go scrapbook.

I hope she stays away from all of us! I know we certainly don't need any more rain and I'm not anxious to witness a hurricane here our first summer as Myrtle Beach residents. I've got plenty of water, food and in hopes we don't need a generator as that we left with our son in Raleigh.

Worst case scenario may be playing out, which has the eye coming directly across me. :( No way to really tell until Sunday exactly which path it will take, but prayers and a lot of air blowing to the east would be more than welcome. As well as some rain for the PNW.
