FYI

Post by pat-czap »

I am sitting with Greg in his hospital room, reading a copy of Threads magazine.

A woman by the name of Julie Jahn, had this to say...

"I am not a fabricaholic, I am the curator of an extensive privately owned collection of textiles."

She says it makes her feel more comfortable about her situation.

I think we could change fabricaholic to paper, stamp, ink, etc...aholic; and the word textiles to whatever fits your situation.
Although, I could use the fabric reference as well.

I just chuckled at the thought of being a curator of a collection. ;)

This made me chuckle also Pat.

My name is Farley. I am not a stamp/ink/paperholic. I am the curator of an amazingly extensive collection of much loved stamps, ink and paper.

And how is Greg?

Thanks for asking Farley. Greg is 4 days post transplant, and is feeling rather bad, and should last for several more days. I think this is the part where it kicks you in the butt! The docs say he is progressing along extremely well. I go home tomorrow, so he can feel crummy without having to worry about me. I'll be back here soon, I'm sure. ;)

I'm glad to hear that he is doing well even if he does feel bad during the process.

Happy to hear Greg is improving. Sorry it has to be so painful. I hope you get some much needed rest and be ready for whatever the next stage is. Your health is just as important. Sending more healing :happy94:

I just can't even imagine. Please tell us you're getting breaks when you need them. :happy94:

I am on the verge of being a supply hoarder - not even gonna lie about it. I.have.too.much. Yes, I said it. It's true because at times, it overwhelms me. Working on it though. Someday I'll be back to being a curator!

I am home, where it is soooo hot.

Greg had some meds changed today, hoping to ease some of his issues.

I would like to go in the craft room to gaze upon my curated items, and maybe do something, in between all the other things I'm doing. ;)

I'll second Debbie's vote! You need some me time for a little while.

I agree, too. An hour of curating will do you more good than other chores you think you should do around the house.
