Please say a prayer for me?

Post by pamcook »

Somehow, I ended up getting pneumonia. I was perfectly fine until about 2 p.m. on Tuesday when I started coughing. It didn't feel like an asthma cough but we were 2 hours from home and my inhaler was all I had. The symptoms hit me like a rock. I fell asleep at my desk yesterday morning and slept 2 hours. Went to urgent care last night because I knew I was really sick. My coworker is out of town so I really do have to be here in the office. I do have enough sense to pace myself and am surrounded by healthcare people if I get into trouble.
Please pray that the medication knocks this out. The NP said 2 days and I should feel significantly better.
Thanks

You're at work?!? You're more dedicated than I would be. Sending prayers and hugs, and hoping you feel better very soon.

Oh Pam, I hope you feel better soon. I agree with Keitha, you shouldn't be at work.

Oh, Pam, you really need to be home in bed. I hope the medicine kicks in quickly. Please take care of yourself.

Believe me, I know I should be at home. I'm fading pretty quickly. Trying to get a laptop set up so I can work from home this afternoon. It's easier to be here but I'm just exhausted.

So sorry. Take care of yourself. I’ve had it before and it’s awful. It can go from bad to worse quickly. Saying a prayer for quick recovery.

That’s just not right! It should be outlawed that a person gets ill during the holidays. I hope the meds kick i. Quick, and you find some time to stay home.

Good grief. Seems like she's always gone when you need her.

Sending prayers for a speedy recovery and that you are back on your feet soon!! I am sure you are exhausted from all the Holiday festivities too. Go home, take a nap and feel better soon.

Definitely sending prayers for a fast recovery!! You're right though... you're in the right place if you're sick. :-)

Oh good grief Pam! By now you’re home I hope, snuggled up in bed, heavily medicated and sleeping. Don’t go to work tomorrow please. Feel better soon. :happy94:
