So as I suspected, having my shrine on the mantel meant everyone saw it and admired it yesterday! Connor actually was showing it to his friends here today--imagine a boy showing his buddies a "craft project"!! But he knows that Ruth Ann created that little gem with my love for and pride in him in her mind, and it is a little shrine to him, to his determination, to his service to our country.

What an amazing gift. Again, Ruth Ann, thank you so very much! You are a very caring person AND a talented artist!!

holly, didn't she sub in for annette? if so, I think she sent it out a while ago, but from experience, it takes quite awhile to get here from there....
