Picket Fence, whatever?

Post by mpizzazz »

Ok, how is picket fence distress stain, ink, paint or whatever it is different from regular whatever it is? I"m sure there is a video somewhere explaining but I'm too lazy to go searching.

Picket Fence is the color name (white).
Does that answer your question?
I know the stains react differently but I can't remember the details. Tim's videos explain it best.
I don't own any of the stains but I know they're a slippery slope for me. If I buy one, I'll want them all.

I bought the Picket Fence stamp pad yesterday but don't own any of his stains. I think you can do almost the same thing with the pads. I don't need to make him any richer than I already do.

Picket Fence stain is almost like a very very watered down white.
Of all the stains I do have to say it is my favorite ;)

It's kind of like an opaque stain. And if you do get it don't forget to shake this one, it has a mixer ball, whereas the other stains don't.

I didn't know they had picket fence in a stamp pad.
Is it a good white? Ever on the quest, CS came out
with the india ink white that actually works.
I like the picket fence stain, almost like laying down primer

Thanks, I knew it had the mixer ball in it so thought it was some unique product of its own-not a stain, ink or paint.
I"m not getting into the stains either. I have enough stuff that can be thinned down and sloshed around.

You and me both, Marianne. I have some white wash left from my woodworking days, so that'll suffice. Just haven't gotten into the stains much. I figure there's enough in my stash not being used already.
